but not meant to be together."

What do I have to say? Falling in love with someone doesn't mean that it has to end in heartbreak, though it often does. Falling in love could also be a life lesson. Through loving someone, one can learn much more about oneself and how to ameliorate the way you live and treat people. Falling in love is so much more than being attracted to someone. Attraction definitely begins it all but I believe in so much more than that. Love has taught me many things. How to be unselfish for example. How to accept. How to care. The person you're with also often has an influence on the way you think. Which could be the opposite of the way you thought. This helps you to see things in a different way, through different eyes, and possibly you'll be overcome or rather strengthened in what you believe. There are many things that come with Love. I'm simply at the begin stage of learning. But I'll have to say, I don't regret falling in love. No matter what kind of pain it will bring later on, it's given me so much more to benefit from.
And just like some say, 'No pain, no gain.'
